Annual Plan
The annual plans of a Grama Panchayat are development activities prepared with the objective of ensuring the overall development of the region and the welfare of the people. These annual plans include sectors such as infrastructure development, drinking water supply, road renovation, health services, educational improvement, sanitation management, agricultural development, women and child welfare, elderly care, environmental protection, housing construction, and employment generation. Priorities for the projects are determined by considering the needs of the people and the suggestions raised in Grama Sabha meetings. The main aim of the Panchayat’s annual plans is to achieve sustainable development and social progress through the efficient utilization of financial resources in coordination with State and Central Government schemes.
